Family Q Event: Fertility Issues for Lesbians Workshop

IHI runs a free workshop series for LGBTQ parents and prospective parents entitled Family Q. Additionally, IHI provides follow-up counseling for workshop participants who would like more support in working through some of the emotional complexities that LGBTQ parents must deal with.This month, Carolyn Berger, LCSW will be covering Fertility Issues for Lesbians.


Getting pregnant isn’t always easy! This workshop will explore the issues and obstacles lesbians may be faced with–and how they can be overcome.

Carolyn Berger LCSW, has been helping couples and individuals create families through fertility treatment and adoption for over two decades. She supports family building for couples, singles, and members of the LGBT community. She is founding Board Chair of The American Fertility Association. She is Chair of The AFA Adoption Advisory Council and a professional member of The AFA’s Mental Health Group. She is an active member of The American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s Mental Health Professional Group.
