What: This Saturday, Center Families is hosting Part 2 of their workshop on financial options, legal protection, and the realities of being a queer parent.

Where: The LGBT Community Center, 208 West 13th Street, New York, NY 10011

Topics include: NY Marriage Law, known donor legal issues, co-parenting agreements, surrogacy concerns, estate planning, insurance planning, investment planning for unmarried parents, non-parent partner considerations, benefits of term insurance, designated beneficiaries and partners, 529 college savings plans, and long term care insurance benefits.

Featured Speakers:

Anthony M. Brown, Esq. is a known donor and a father through surrogacy. He is a New York attorney who heads the Non-Traditional Family and Estates Division of the law firm of Albert W. Chianese & Associates.

Judith M. Kasen, Vice President-Investments, Wells Fargo Advisors. Specializing with married, single, domestic partnerships and non-traditional families alike, Judith has been in the business for 15 years.

Maiya Furgason, First Vice President-Investments, Wells Fargo Advisors has been in the securities industry for over 32 years, focusing on asset preservation and estate strategies, and investment planning.
